Rahmat Wibowo's “kost” claim: the house he went after is, in fact, a family home

On 23 October 2026, Rahmat Wibowo posted on Threads that he had sent his legal notice to the address registered for the perkara.ai trademark, and that the security guard there told him Ibrahim Arief no longer lives there and only rents a room (kost). He added that the house belongs to “a senile old grandmother”, accused Ibrahim of unethically using “someone else’s house” for his trademark, and called him “IBANGSAT” (ev-20261023-002).

We have since received a credible clarification from a verified representative of Ibrahim Arief’s family, sent to our email [email protected]. It tells a different story:

  • The house is a family home.
  • The elderly woman who lives there is a member of the family who has dementia.
  • Part of the house has been turned into rooms for rent so that she has something to keep her busy, and so that the tenants can keep her company and look out for her when the family is not at home.

So there was nothing improper about the address. It is the family’s own house, and the “kost” Rahmat mocked is how the family looks after an elderly relative with dementia — the same woman he publicly called senile.

Rahmat Wibowo calls himself an advocate for people with mental disabilities. He has disclosed his own ADHD and bipolar diagnoses and accused others of ableism (ev-20260616-002, ev-20260603-005). Yet he still dared to publicly label an elderly woman living with dementia “senile” to score a point against her family. That is hypocrisy.

What Rahmat actually did

  • He sent a legal notice to a family home. The receipt for that notice, his fourth to Ibrahim, is signed not with a signature but with a sticker of himself raising an object over his head as if about to strike (doc-20261023-001).
  • He questioned the security guard about where Ibrahim lives.
  • He then published what he learned about the household, including an elderly woman’s medical condition, to his followers, and mocked her for it.
  • He also posted a selfie in front of the house, pointing at its sign, which potentially violates the privacy of the family who live there. In the same post he wrote that he “will wait around” there (ev-20261023-003; we have blurred the house).

That is stalking, and it has reached a vulnerable person who has nothing to do with his grievances. Rahmat now knows the house where an elderly woman with dementia lives, and the receipt for the very notice he sent there carries a sticker of him raising an object as if to strike. He could potentially hurt this member of the family.

According to the family’s representative, the family plans to report this to the police, because they feel the safety of a beloved family member, who is frail and lives with a disability, is threatened by Rahmat Wibowo’s irresponsible actions.
