5d Ihave been sitting with this thought for a while too Salsabila Meidiana Putri. People love to talk about communication when it makes them look wise. @ They say: “Just talk." “Have the 1on1." @ “Most problems happen because someone did not communicate." "Silence creates misunderstanding." Qy Beautiful words. “@ But here is the hypocrisy | experienced. When | asked about my termination, | was. blocked. When | asked for an explanation, | was. ignored. & When I tried to communicate, the door was closed. & When | wanted clarification, silence was treated as professionalism. When I wanted accountability, silent treatment was framed as good faith. So let me ask honestly: How can someone publicly preach communication, but privately practice avoidance? g How can someone tell employees to talk to ‘their managers, while refusing to have a proper conversation with someone whose livelihood was affected? si How can silence be called good faith when it is used to avoid explanation, accountability, and basic respect? Termination is not just an administrative action.» It affects someone's income, reputation, mental health, career record, and dignity. 6 If communication is the cure, then it must apply not only when it is convenient. 2 It must apply when the conversation is difficult. It must apply when power is involved. i It must apply when HR is being questioned too. 22 Because communication is not a branding statement. It is a responsibility. You cannot tell people to book a ton1, then block someone who is asking for answers. aS) You cannot preach empathy, then hide behind silence. MJD You cannot call silent treatment good faith when the other side is asking for basic clarity. That is not leadership. b> That is not professionalism. b> That is not good faith. That is hypocrisy. @* Real good faith means showing up. (") Real communication means answering difficult questions. @ Real accountability means not disappearing when someone asks why they were terminated. ~ Talk is easy. Consistency is the real test. _ ##Leadership #HR #WorkplaceEthics #Accountability #GoodFaith ‘#Professionalism #EmployeeRights #WorkplaceCulture #Communication #integrity #LinkedinCommunity #HumanResources #Termination #Justice
