Hypocrisy at Its Finest. Ilham Firdausi Putra
from Pasal.id
A verified X account (@ilhamfputra) posted
this yesterday:
>"Kemarin Ibam, sekarang Nadiem.
> Besok kita &”
(Translation: “Yesterday Ibam, now Nadiem.
Tomorrow us fs")
Strong words. Fist emoji. Clear implication of
power, targeting, and collective action.
When | engaged with the post, the account
immediately blocked me.
This is textbook hypocrisy:
~ Talk loudly about “us” and what's coming
next.
~ Block the moment someone actually shows
up to have the conversation.
Verified badge + bold statements + zero
willingness to engage or stand behind the
words. That's not strength. That's the digital
version of shouting from behind a locked
door.
I've dealt with enough online harassment to
recognize the pattern: project power publicly,
then silence anyone who questions it
privately. It's the same tired playbook.
True confidence doesn’t need the block
button as a shield, Real accountability means
you can say it and own the conversation that
follows.
We all deserve better standards — especially
from accounts that position themselves as
voices for “us.”
If you've experienced similar behavior (big
talk followed by instant blocking), you're not
alone. Drop your thoughts below.
