Narcissistic Personality Disorder does not always look like arrogance case of Maria Khelli a Student with 3.94 GPA from Institut Teknologi Bandung. ‘Sometimes it looks like a stellar GPA. A. packed Linkedin profile. A smile that never stops asking for something in return. I wrote an article about a pattern | call "The Applause Addict” -- inspired by a composite case | named Maria Khelli. Maria Khelliis brilliant. Genuinely. High GPA, prestigious institution, always the first to mention it. But behind the credentials was a hunger that never got full: constant attention-seeking, validation from every room she entered, and a habit of broadcasting other people's mistakes to make herself look better by contrast. She would casually mention a friend holding three jobs at once, not out of concern, but to. position herself as the stable, ethical one. The exposure of others was currency. Then it escalated. Maria Khelli held a full-time role and did not deliver. She was simultaneously committed to multiple other income streams, accepting trust she had no intention of honoring. She used her polished profile and real credentials to scam foreign parties across borders, people who had no way to verify her claims or pursue legal remedies. The intelligence was real. The fraud was real too. This is what makes NPD dangerous in professional settings: the most harmful cases are not the obvious ones. They are camouflaged by competence. The disorder is invisible until the gap between image and reality collapses. A few things worth remembering: References matter more than resumes. Deliverables matter more than credentials. For cross-border engagements, due diligence is not optional milestone-tied contracts and verified identities are the minimum. High GPA is not character. High follower count is not integrity. And if you recognize the Maria pattern in someone around you: document, maintain distance, and do not mistake charisma for commitment. The applause should go to people who actually do the work. They are rarely the loudest in the room. But they are the ones worth trusting, TikTok Tatacipta Dirgantara Tutun Juhana Yudistira Asnar #NPD #NarcissisticPersonalityDisorder #WorkplaceCulture #Professionalintegrity #MentalHealth #Leadership #FraudAwareness #CareerAdvice #indonesia #Accountability #tinfraloka #ThoughtLeadership #HRInsights ‘#DigitalProfessionalism #PsychologyAtWork
