Ihave publicly disclosed that I have Bipolar Affective Disorder and ADHD (AUDHD). | am neurodivergent. And I am Fit to Work, confirmed by psychiatric evaluation at Eka Hospital on 13 May 2026. | take medication to support my emotional and cognitive capabilities. That is not weakness. That is responsibility. But here is what I want to say to companies that claim to champion Diversity and Inclusion while failing the very people those values are supposed to protect: Words on a website mean nothing without action behind them. Indonesia's new Criminal Code (KUHP) under Pasal 38 explicitly recognizes mental and intellectual disabilities, including psychosocial conditions like bipolar disorder, as factors that affect moral culpability. Pasal 39 goes further: when someone with a mental disability is in an acute episode, the law itself extends forgiveness. The law is more humane than some organizations. If Indonesian law can recognize the humanity and complexity of people with mental health conditions, why can't some companies do the same for their own people? Iwas not treated with dignity. My neurodivergence was not respected. My conditions, both mood disorder and ADHD, were not accommodated with the seriousness they deserved. To every neurodivergent professional in Indonesia: you are not broken. You are not a liability. You are protected, by medical ethics, by emerging legal frameworks, and by your own courage to show up every day. Diversity and inclusion is not a checkbox. It is a. commitment. And some organizations like Liven with their Co CEO Shahrooz Chowdhury and William Wong with HRBP Dinda Rhapsodya have a long way to go. #Neurodiversity #ADHD #BipolarDisorder #AuDHD #DiversityAndinclusion #MentalHealth #FitTowork #indonesiaWorkplace #NeurodivergentProfessionals #HakPenyandangDisabilitas #KUHP #MentalHealthatWork #BreakTheStigma #infraloka #RahmatalilAlamin
