Rahmat Wibowo publicly questioned Abigail Aryaputra Sudarman's claimed University of London degree in AI/ML Computer Science by presenting evidence of inconsistencies, including lack of university-related social media content, no LinkedIn connections from UoL, and a public record showing enrollment in a different Management program at BINUS Online that was withdrawn in 2022/2023.

Academic Credentials in Al:
Verifying Expertise
Following up on my recent post regarding
professional integrity and brand
misrepresentation in the Al space, there is
another layer of accountability that needs to
be addressed: academic credentials.
True expertise is backed by verifiable facts,
not just bold claims on a profile. When an
individual builds a personal brand and an
educational platform—such as the "Abil
Sudarman School of Artificial Intelligence
"on the foundation of specific academic
achievements, those credentials must be
legitimate,
Abigail Aryaputra Sudarman aka Abil S. S
prominently claims to hold a degree from the
University of London with a major in
Computer Science. To ensure our tech
community is being guided by verified
professionals, | have officially submitted a
formal third-party degree verification inquiry
to the University of London's Academic
‘Awards and Verification team.
In an industry that highly values the "Build In
Public" ethos, honesty and transparency are
strictly non-negotiable. Manufacturing
authority through unverified degrees or
unauthorized logos harms the credibility of
genuine educators and engineers who put in
the actual work.
1am currently awaiting the university's
official response and will keep the network
updated. Let's continue to hold our
professional spaces to a higher standard of
truth.

| believe a large part of the reason an
average adult user struggles with LLMs has
nothing to do with technology. There are at
least three different cognitive skills, if not
more, and none of which are reliably present
in the average computer user, that are
necessary for effective LLM use.
1. Set Shifting - switching the frame of the
conversation as context evolves, including
other mechanisms like inhibition, goal
maintenance, and error monitoring. This
along with a robust knowledge base from
which to activate distinct perspectives.
2. Relevance Realization - knowing what
information is salient to the model at any
moment, given an infinite space of potentially
relevant information, how does a mind know
what matters right now?
3. Perspective Taking - modeling the model's
“point of view", this is the ability to attribute
mental states to others and to appreciate
another person's point of view. This ability
declines with age.
Users who can't fluidly reframe what
“context” or "relevance" means to the model
will consistently either over-constrain or
under-specify their prompts. Worse, this
gets harder with age.
The population-scale metric on literacy
evolved into computer-literacy. Now, in a Al-
pervasive world, we need a measure for
"cognitive-flexibility" literacy.

How is artificial intelligence already shaping
student success work across the CSU?
In the third installment of “Artificial
Intelligence in Practice Across the CSU,”
campus leaders reflect on how Al is being
used in real time to support student success
efforts while raising important questions
about ethics, equity, and implementation.
This Voices blog offers timely insights into
how institutions are navigating innovation
with intention and exploring what it means to

lam honored to share my recent article in
Trusteeship Magazine for the Association of
Governing Boards of Universities and
Colleges, titled "America’s Colleges Cannot
Afford to Fall Behind in Al and Technology
Governance.”
This piece emphasizes the critical need for Al
and technology governance to become a
board-level priority as colleges and
universities face rapid change, institutional
risk, and increasing pressure to innovate
responsibly. My central argument is that
higher education leaders must ensure that Al
adoption is guided by mission, ethics,
strategy, and long-term sustainability, rather
than being viewed solely as a technology
issue.

Personalization is transforming learning, but
it introduces new challenges. When learning
paths differ, institutions must ensure
outcomes remain comparable. Flexibility
without consistency creates risk.
