What this document is

A screenshot of an email sent on 27 September 2023 by Rahmat Wibowo to “dhamama”, Dian Hamama, the Sr. HR Partner at PT Amazon Web Services Indonesia who signed his termination letter of 14 September 2023. The subject is “Mrs Dian Please Read I Need Your Help”. The email body is shown in full; Gmail’s “…” at the bottom hides only quoted text.

What it says

  • He has “just got hate speech in twitter” and been “blacklisted from getting jobs in Indonesia”.
  • The thread has 2.6 million views and has “really broke my reputation”. He links a post by the X account @sicupuh.
  • “I suspect it was fabhian because all of his allies in my uni along with him always talks bad about me in the back”.
  • “I need your help and huajia also HR from Indonesia to cek all of his messages to his friends.”
  • “This is really making bad impression to both me and AWS. Hope we can fix this soon as well fix AWS reputation in Indonesia.”
  • It closes with “Need Your help”.

Observations

  1. Pleading with the HR partner who let him go. The subject line and closing beg Dian Hamama for help: “Mrs Dian Please Read I Need Your Help”, “Need Your help”. She is the person who had signed the letter ending his employment two weeks earlier.
  2. He was no longer an employee. His termination took effect on 22 September 2023, five days before this email. He still asks AWS’s HR team to go through the private messages of a current AWS employee, Rahmat Fabhian Aminuddin, to his friends, and presents his own reputation and AWS’s as one cause.
  3. A suspicion, offered as grounds for an investigation. The only basis he gives for blaming Fabhian is that Fabhian’s “allies in my uni” talk about him behind his back. He has since repeated the accusation that anonymous accounts are Fabhian (ev-20260527-003), but in 2026 he identified @sicupuh, the account whose thread he links here, as an alumnus of the University of Indonesia’s law faculty, not as Fabhian (ev-20260605-001, ev-20260616-017).
  4. Playing the victim. He presents himself only as the target of hate speech and a job blacklist. He does not mention his own conduct that the thread was about, or that two days earlier, on 25 September 2023, he had threatened to take everyone discussing him to the police for defamation (ev-20261022-005).
  5. Then he turned on Dian. When HR did not act on his request, he later accused Dian Hamama personally of an unlawful termination and of overseeing the hiring of people involved in harassment and fraud (ev-20260604-001). He described her as having dismissed him “dishonourably” (ev-20260728-025) and, in September 2026, asked the police to charge her with a false-statement offence carrying up to seven years (doc-20260908-001).
  6. Who actually hurt AWS’s reputation. He tells HR the thread is “making bad impression to both me and AWS”. Since then he has named AWS staff on a public “blacklist” (ev-20260603-003), accused Amazon, AWS Indonesia and their lawyers of corporate misconduct and abuse of power (ev-20260620-001), cited his messages telling AWS HR about the same 2.6-million-view thread as evidence that HR “took no protective action” (ev-20260620-007), and filed eleven criminal counts against the company and its directors (doc-20260908-001). The bad impression of AWS in Indonesia has come mostly from Rahmat Wibowo himself.
